Despite all the negative reviews, I had a nice African American lady fix me my pita. The place looked understaffed from all of the help wanted signs and she seemed like the only worker there and did a great job! She did everything from all of the cooking and ringing up customers in a timely manner cpurteously, being the only employee and I ordered through Yelp and she knew exactly what to do and got my order right. She seemed like a honest polite sweet hard worker. God bless her. I came around 2pm and am currently thoroughly enjoying my meal feeling healthy with all of the toppings.
Happy with my meal and choice. -

I went to the Pita Pit while visiting Columbia. Pita Pit is facing Main Street and located in an old little mall.
The menu consists of mostly pita sandwiches and some salads. They also have ice cream. You order at the cash register and they will call your name when ready. I ordered a falafel pita.
The falafel was ready in about 5 minutes and I made my own drink.
The falafel was strange. The bread was almost like rubber, more like a wrap. The falafel itself was a weird mess they smashed and heated it up on a grill and dumped it inside the wrap.
Needless to say I have never had a falafel like this and hope to never have it again. The name is correct it was the pits. -

Not a fan of this company and it was not my choice for lunch but I decided to come here. We had the falafel it was okay there was one employee working but it wasn't busy at all during lunch. When you complete your order it asks if you wanted to leave a tip I said no but I requested for change for a $20 because I was going to leave a cash tip. I sensed an attitude from the guy since I didn't leave a tip when I swiped my card. He made it a point to make sure the three other men enjoyed their food and even welcomed them back. We decided to dine in (three tables) we ate lunch and talked for a little over thirty mins. When we got ready to leave the guy didn't even look our way and it wasn't busy he should've acknowledged us like he did the other men. The place is very small and junky it needs to relocate.

Great late night place to grab a wrap to soak up the booze when I frequented five points in my youth. The grilled chicken w ranch and hummus and black olives and cheese is a combo I can never turn down. Really wish they were open 24/7 so the early risers could grab breakfast on the go or the really really late night folks can eat some good grub.

Apparently when ordering online you need call to tell those working that when I choose 'make a salad' I would like the items that are on the pita itself too...I've chosen the 'make a salad' option several times and have selected items that were of the pita, like lettuce!!!, and gotten them. Tonight, I didn't as thought, "duh, it's obvious I want the items that make up the pita itself!!"....um yeah, NO!!!. It seems I need to 'dumb it down' the next time I order, if I do again....
